Lockhart held San Jose hitters spellbound and helpless in a masterful display of pitching, leading the Quakes to a 1-0 win. "It was like I was in a dream," Lockhart said afterward. "The ball just went right where I wanted it to." In his mound masterpiece, Lockhart rang up 18 strikeouts and issued 3 walks.
