Visalia Takes Round 1 in Deciding Game Wednesday, September 20th , 2073 A classic and dramatic Round 1 has wrapped up, with the Visalia Rawhide outlasting the San Jose Giants to advance to the Round 2. Visalia won the final game by a score of 6-3 and took the series 3-2. "We can enjoy this one tonight, but then it's back to work and thinking about the next win," said Visalia center fielder Billy Scoresby, whose standout performance earned him the nod as series MVP. Scoresby hit .353 with a .450 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 8 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Visalia Rawhide will play against the Lake Elsinore Storm in the next round.
