Hit Streak for Bushbaum Reaches 25 Friday, September 7th , 2108 Alex Bushbaum of the San Jose Giants has now hit safely in 25 straight games. He socked 1 hit in today's 4-3 triumph over Modesto at San Jose Municipal Stadium. "25 games is a big chunk of the year, isn't it?" Bushbaum said to reporters. "It's hard to wrap your head around." Alex Bushbaum doubled in the 1st, struck out in the 4th, hit a sac fly in the 5th, was hit by a pitch in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. Thus far this season, Bushbaum is hitting .309 with 14 home runs, 69 RBIs and 75 runs scored. He has 145 hits in 469 at-bats and has played in 125 games. |
