David Senn took California League by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 25.

For his spectacular campaign, the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes star has been named the 2110 California League Most Valuable Player Award recipient.

"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the center fielder.

On the season he compiled a .278 batting average to go with a .374 on-base percentage. The native of San Francisco, California also added 34 doubles, 13 triples, 15 home runs, 61 RBIs and 86 runs scored.

He received 8 first place votes out of a possible 10. Ivan Jimenez of the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Mike Hoppe of the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes finished third.
