Weddington Captures CAL Award for Best Manager Tuesday, October 9th , 2108 Josh Weddington, skipper of the Modesto Nuts, was voted 2108 California League Manager of the Year and accepted the award earlier today. He guided Modesto to first place in the North Division with a 97-43 record. "I'm very happy about this," he said at the press conference. "But I'm more happy about what my boys did on the field. They battled their butts off for me all year. They should get the credit." |
