CAL Star of the Week Chosen Monday, May 12th , 2070 Jon Mastel burst onto the California League stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie center fielder for Lancaster garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 21-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .538 (14-for-26) with no home runs and 6 RBIs last week. This season Mastel has hit at a .409 clip with 22 RBIs, 4 home runs and 19 runs scored. |
