Cartwright Batters Rancho Cucamonga for 5 Hits Friday, April 19th, 2058 It seemed Lake Elsinore Storm right fielder Eric Cartwright could do no wrong today, but it still didn't come out right. The Storm fell against the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes by the score of 17-16. Cartwright did all he could, rapping out 5 hits in 6 at-bats, but in the end, Rancho Cucamonga prevailed at LoanMart Field. "I felt real good today, but my best just wasn't enough," Cartwright said in the postgame interview. "We didn't play well enough to win. I saw the ball well and put the ball in play well, and they fell in for base hits. Some days they do that." Eric Cartwright hit a three-run home run off Jayden Ware in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
