Sanchez Too Tough, Blanks Charlotte Wednesday, June 1st, 2061 In a seemingly effortless performance, Jose Sanchez of the Palm Beach Cardinals shot down the Charlotte Stone Crabs 5-0 on a 4-hit shutout. "Jose was just locating so well and using his pitches," Palm Beach manager Toby Spack said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate." Sanchez recorded 6 strikeouts and 1 walk in a strong outing. "When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Charlotte manager Raphael Ramirez said in his postgame comments to BNN.
