FSL Star of the Week Named Monday, July 4th, 2061 Bret Kossman has been in a real groove lately. The 25-year-old Jupiter Hammerheads center fielder nabbed Florida State League Player of the Week honors today after beating up on opposing pitchers all last week. Kossman's hot streak featured 13 hits in 25 at-bats, 1 home run, 7 RBIs, 4 runs scored and a .520 average. In his season totals Kossman has 11 home runs and a .286 batting average. |
