Sanchez Fashions No-Hitter Against Cardinals Saturday, June 12th, 2055 There was magic on the mound today at Roger Dean Stadium as Clearwater Threshers starter Sergio Sanchez no-hit the Palm Beach Cardinals. Sanchez held Palm Beach hitters spellbound and helpless in a masterful display of pitching, leading the Threshers to a 4-0 win. "It was like I was in a dream," Sanchez said afterward. "The ball just went right where I wanted it to." In his mound masterpiece, Sanchez rang up 11 strikeouts and issued no walks. So far this season Sanchez is 8-and-3 with no saves and a 1.68 ERA.
