MID Batter of the Month Honors to Giddens Saturday, September 1st , 2085 Joe Giddens may be much younger than other hitters in the Midwest League, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in August to win the Batter of the Month award. The 24-year-old Dayton third baseman hit .384 with 1 home run, 23 RBIs and 21 runs scored. Giddens is currently hitting at a .305 pace with 10 home runs, 74 RBIs and has scored 60 times. |
