Week's Top Performer Honored by MID Monday, September 5th , 2107 West Michigan Whitecaps fans are celebrating Daniel Wright's selection as Midwest League Player of the Week. Wright put up some serious numbers over the past seven days as he cracked 13 hits in 25 at-bats. The 23-year-old shortstop hit .520, drove in 5 runs, scored 4 times and hit no home runs. For the year, Wright has hit .270 with 4 home runs, 47 RBIs and scored 41 runs. |
