With a 5-0 victory, the Quad Cities River Bandits swept aside the Dayton Dragons 4-0 and set off a much-anticipated celebration. "It was a lot of hard work," said winning manager Tim Ahern. "But it was good hard work and a lot of fun along the way." The River Bandits were all business this year, with their eyes fixed squarely on the goal of winning the team's 6th championship.
