Chad McMahon Sidelined for Season Tuesday, May 23rd, 2056 The doctors have spoken and Chad McMahon of the Lansing Lugnuts didn't like what he heard. The 22-year-old shortstop is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. McMahon sustained his season-ending injury during the Fort Wayne TinCaps game yesterday at Parkview Field. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Lansing medical staff reported McMahon had a torn labrum and would be absent from the lineup for at least 4 months. McMahon is currently batting .278 with no home runs and 12 RBIs. |
