Byers Hits for Cycle Against Cedar Rapids

Ryan Byers hit for the cycle and paced the Clinton LumberKings to a 17-2 victory over the Cedar Rapids Kernels at Veterans Memorial Stadium today.
The LumberKings left fielder led the way for his club with 4 hits in 5 at-bats -- 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run -- along with 8 RBI and 3 runs.
"Now that I know what Ryan is capable of, I'm going to expect it more often," Clinton manager Kameron Loe joked with reporters after the game.
Ryan Byers hit a two-run double in the 1st, hit an RBI triple in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, walked in the 7th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Ernesto Yado in the 9th.
For the season Byers is batting .446 with 25 hits and 2 home runs. He has scored 11 times and batted in 14.
