Castell Hurls West Michigan to Shutout Win Tuesday, June 27th, 2056 Kelvin Castell of the West Michigan Whitecaps was masterful today, pitching a 3-hit shutout, 8-0, against the Lansing Lugnuts. By going the distance, he was at the same time able to give his bullpen a rest, a fact appreciated by West Michigan manager Joe Williams. "It's nice to have someone who can do that from time to time," he said. "He had command of every ball and every pitch. Great location, too." Castell had 6 strikeouts and 1 walk in the outing.
