Spurlock and Stickel Suspended for Free-for-All Tuesday, July 7th , 2082 If there wasn't a history between Daric Spurlock of Wisconsin and Max Stickel of Burlington, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 4 and 6 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Spurlock said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." Currently Spurlock is batting .302 with 13 hits and no home runs. He has knocked in 11 runs and scored 9 times. In season stats Stickel shows a 7-6 record in 16 games, 82 innings, 87 strikeouts and a 3.73 ERA. |
