Armijo Stretches Hit String to 25

Hagerstown third baseman Juan Armijo keeps on racking up hits every time he plays.

His hitting streak now stands at 25 games after collecting 2 hits at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium today. The Suns took the 7-1 victory over the Delmarva Shorebirds.

"I have been seeing the ball really good the last few weeks, but I am a bit surprised how things are working out," Armijo said. "I've gotten a couple flares to drop in, so I've also been a little lucky."
Juan Armijo grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, grounded out in the 7th and flied out in the 8th.

Presently Armijo is batting .331 with 12 home runs and 68 RBIs. He has played in 72 games and scored 43 times.
