Villegas Sharp in Shutout Sunday, September 9th, 2057 David Villegas of the Spokane Indians toyed with the Kansas City (SS-A) Royals today, blanking them 9-0 at Melaleuca Field. He was almost untouchable, baffling them on a 3-hit shutout with 11 strikeouts and no walks. "I'm sweating now because it's hot in here," Villegas said in the clubhouse after the game.
