Lamb Spins Shutout Monday, August 27th, 2057 In an outstanding mound performance, Johnson City Cardinals starter Bryan Lamb fired a complete-game shutout against the Baltimore (Rk+) Orioles at Ballpark of Pearl River today. Lamb was the key to the Cardinals's 4-0 win. The 19-year-old left-hander was in high spirits on the mount for much of the game, his mood largely undented by the 7 hits and 2 walks he allowed. "7 hits?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter as long as it was a shutout."
