Bristol's Huffman Out 4 Months Tuesday, August 11th , 2111 Vince Huffman of the Bristol Pirates was injured in today's game against Kingsport and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a torn labrum, and he is expected to be out for up to 4 months. It happened while Huffman was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." Thus far this season, Huffman has posted a 0-5 record, started 8 games, struck out 38 batters in 39.2 innings and compiled a 7.71 ERA. |
