Bristol's Markovich Will Miss Season Monday, July 23rd , 2108 The season is apparently over for Dylan Markovich. The Bristol Pirates medical staff informed the club that the reliever will be out at least 4 months with radial nerve compression. Markovich was hurt in the game against Johnson City while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. To this point in the season, Markovich has rung up 1 save in 7 relief appearances. He has also crafted a 6.52 ERA, no wins and 1 loss and 12 strikeouts in 9.2 innings. |
