Princeton-Pulaski Brawl, Lawson and Unknown Suspended Wednesday, July 30th , 2098 After an intense confrontation, both the Rays Jaylen Lawson and the Yankees Jim Unknown were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Princeton-Pulaski game. Jaylen Lawson will miss 5 games, while Jim Unknown was suspended for 3 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Jaylen Lawson commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." Currently Lawson is batting .294 with 10 hits and no home runs. He has knocked in 4 runs and scored 5 times. |
