Bad Behavior Costs Rowland and Unknown Friday, July 25th , 2110 After an intense confrontation, both the Twins Travis Rowland and the Yankees Jim Unknown were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Elizabethton-Pulaski game. Travis Rowland will miss 6 games, while Jim Unknown was suspended for 7 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Travis Rowland commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." So far this year, Rowland is batting .214 with 1 home run. |
