Behind Takehara, Greeneville Blanks Bluefield, 6-0 Thursday, August 25th , 2107 Tomaru Takehara held the Bluefield Blue Jays to 4 hits and fashioned a fine 6-0 shutout at Pioneer Park. Speaking after the game, Greeneville Astros manager Carlos Diaz said "Takehara had everything going for him today. He changed speeds effectively, stayed down, had a lot of movement. He was masterful." Takehara rung up 3 strikeouts and surrendered no walks in the game. "We couldn't get anything going. He certainly had our number," Bluefield manager Nate Todaro told reporters.
