East Won: Burlington Crowned Thursday, September 11th , 2104 Burlington Royals fans are walking a little prouder today after their team officially clinched the East. "There's no reason to believe we can't win it all," closer Chris Hardy said bluntly. "Whether or not we're favorites, we can definitely do what it takes to bring the Round 2 home to Burlington." The division crown is the 27th for the Royals. The club will be looking for its 12th Round 2 victory. Team manager Danny Ortiz said "preparation and focus" will be key to bring home the championship. |
