Kingsport Loses Joe Odle, Will Miss Season Thursday, September 11th , 2104 Joe Odle of the Mets just might have to call it quits for the season. The 22-year-old Kingsport reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Boston (Rk+) Red Sox recently at Ballpark of Cool Valley. Odle suffered shoulder inflammation while throwing a pitch. The Mets medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 8 months. In 7 relief appearances this season, Odle has no saves. He has no wins and 1 loss, 4.40 ERA and 16 strikeouts in 14.1 innings. |
