Princeton's Lopes to Miss Season Tuesday, September 2nd , 2098 Adrian Lopes will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Princeton reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Lopes was injured while throwing a pitch in the Rays-Blue Jays clash at Bowen Field recently. Doctors said he has a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be out a minimum of 10-11 months. To this point in the season Lopes has no saves in 11 relief appearances with a 3-0 record and 0.94 ERA. |
