Hits Blitz for Royals House Monday, September 8th , 2098 Most fans have never seen a player hit for the cycle, and most players have never done it -- but it happened today at Howard Johnson Field. Jon House of the Burlington Royals accomplished the feat against Johnson City Cardinals. House went 4-for-5 with 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run in the 13-7 Burlington victory. "That was one for the grandkids, am I right?" House said after the game. House also scored 3 runs and had 3 RBI in a day to remember for both House and the crowd at Howard Johnson Field. Jon House hit an RBI double in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Marcos McDermott in the 8th and hit an RBI triple in the 9th.
