Burlington Secures Top Spot in East Tuesday, September 17th , 2097 Burlington Royals fans have reason to celebrate today, as their franchise is the class of the East. With their record standing at 59-19, the club officially wrapped up the division title today, for the 20th time. Manager Willie Elizondo said everyone on their roster is looking forward to the postseason and trying to capture the club's 10th championship. "That's what you dream about your whole life," Elizondo said. Center Fielder Mike Naylor added that it's a great feeling to win the division, but said ultimately, a Round 2 victory is what will mark success for the club. |
