Giants Mickey Scholl Will Miss Season Friday, July 3rd , 2082 The season is apparently over for Mickey Scholl. The San Francisco (AZL) Giants medical staff informed the club that the third baseman will be out at least 7-8 months with a torn posterior cruciate ligament. Scholl was hurt in the game against Seattle (AZL) while running the bases. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. During the current season Scholl is batting at a .241 clip with 1 home run and 2 RBIs. He has played in 7 games and scored 3 times. |
