Bad Boy Brawlers Suspended 2 Games Thursday, July 5th , 2085 Tempers were flaring yesterday at Hammond Stadium. Both the Twins and Cardinals were defending their turf. A few punches were thrown, but fortunately very few landed -- there was more wrestling than fighting. When the umpires sorted everything out, Minnesota (GCL)'s Joel Jarquin and St. Louis (GCL)'s Jose Reyes were ejected from the game. Today the league office suspended Jarquin and Reyes for 2 games each. Jarquin is hitting .286 this year with 1 home run and 5 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .375, 2 walks and scored 3 times. |
