Rosas Socks It to Red Sox, Cracks 5 Hits
Sunday, July 21st , 2115
Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Colorado (GCL)'s 7-4 win over Boston (GCL), center fielder Jose Rosas was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at JetBlue Park.
"To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Rosas said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close."
Jose Rosas singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
For the year, Rosas is batting .290 with 3 home runs.
