He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the Pioneer League. He proved all that and now he's been named August's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Texas (Rk+) Rangers posted 5-0 mark and a 2.38 ERA. In 5 starts he tossed 41.2 innings, permitted 41 hits and fanned 30 batters. This season Ramos has crafted a 6-4 mark with a 4.54 ERA in 77.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .299 against him and he has 56 strikeouts. |
