Rams Cairns Smacks 5 Hits Wednesday, January 10th, 2035 Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Lake Mary's 19-8 win over Loxahatchee today, catcher Harland Cairns was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Tar Heels Ballpark. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Cairns said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Harland Cairns grounded out in the 1st, hit a two-run triple in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Jose Gonzales in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th.
