Super Week for Loxahatchee's Wall! Monday, February 5th, 2035 21-year-old Joe Wall made a few Loxahatchee headlines during this past week as the rookie third baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and 400 Winter League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 17 hits in 38 at-bats to put up a .447 average. Wall collected 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and scored 5 runs. Wall is batting .283 this season in 26 games with 3 home runs, 13 RBIs and 12 runs scored. He has 34 hits in 120 at-bats. |
