Monster 3-HR Day for Middleton Tuesday, April 11th , 2113 Joey Middleton went yard three times in a Los Angeles Angels victory over the Baltimore Orioles at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. "I was in a groove," he said. "Every pitch they tossed up there looked like a grapefruit." For the day, the Los Angeles designated hitter went 3-for-5 against Baltimore with 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored in a brilliant display of power hitting that led the Angels to the 6-3 win. "I tell you what. I'm shocked because I didn't think that last ball had enough to get out," he told BNN reporters in the clubhouse following the game. "I thought it was just going to be a long out." Joey Middleton struck out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Dylan Harrison in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Jeff Lambert in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off Clayton Baringer in the 9th.
