Bad News for Best and Tampa Bay Friday, May 14th , 2083 It was learned today in Tampa Bay that center fielder Brian Best would miss more time because his recovery from a herniated disc was not going as well as expected. The Rays, however, were quick to relay that the setback did not seem to be serious and that Best would only miss 3 weeks more. In 29 games this season Best has compiled a .223 batting average with 23 hits and 6 home runs. He has also scored 21 times and knocked in 17 runs. |
