Celeste Nabs AL Weekly Award Monday, June 20th , 2089 Ben Celeste of the Oakland Athletics has just enjoyed one of the better weeks of his career. That fact was not lost on American League officials, who named him Player of the Week. Celeste logged a .538 batting average for the Oakland Athletics, racking up 16 RBIs and 4 home runs. So far this year Celeste has 12 home runs and a .316 batting average. |
