Esposito and Arreola Fight, Get Suspended Saturday, May 18th , 2109 Jimmy Esposito of Chicago and Franklin Arreola of New York were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Esposito will have to miss 4 games for his part in the brawl, while Arreola was given 9 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. A look at his current stats shows Esposito with a .239 average, 6 home runs, 22 RBIs and 16 runs scored. He has played in 31 games. To this point in the season Arreola has no saves in 19 relief appearances with a 0-1 record and 4.50 ERA. |
