Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Chicago-St. Louis contest at Wrigley Field. The Cubs Miguel Gonzalez and the Cardinals Alec Doubleday will have to sit out 2 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl.

Looking at his present stats, Gonzalez has compiled a .294 batting average in 27 games with a .417 on-base percentage, while hitting 10 home runs and driving in 20 runs.

In 5 starts this year Doubleday has crafted a 0-2 record and a 6.10 ERA.
