Astros Chill Keller's Hot Streak
Thursday, May 8th, 2059
The Texas Rangers lost to the Houston Astros 6-3 today at Globe Life Park in Arlington, but perhaps the bigger news was the end of Joe Keller's 21-game hitting streak. The second baseman went 0-for-3 on the day.

"We felt if we could slow down Keller, we would win the game," Astros manager Giovanni Ciotti explained. "They really seemed to feed off his streak, so we tried to put more emphasis on shutting him down."

In 29 games Keller is hitting .424 this season with 50 hits, 12 home runs, 29 RBIs, 6 walks, .457 OBP and has scored 29 runs.
