NL Player of the Week Chosen Monday, June 27th, 2061 24-year-old Brian Priddy sent shock waves through Major League Baseball last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the National League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Priddy made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .400 average, 10 hits in 25 at-bats, 3 home runs and 8 runs batted in. Where the Miami Marlins right fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Priddy certainly made his mark last week. So far this year, Priddy is batting .228 with 19 home runs and 42 RBIs. |
