Parker and Kaplan Fight, Get Suspended
Saturday, September 10th, 2050
Bob Parker of the Houston Astros and Mike Kaplan of the Seattle Mariners will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Astros-Mariners game at Minute Maid Park.

Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Parker and Kaplan will begin serving them soon.

Currently Parker has 12 home runs and a .264 batting average.

Kaplan has made 2 starts, tossed 50.2 innings, struck out 52 batters and walked 27. His record is 4-2 with a 4.09 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .255 batting average.
