Blue Jays Morrison Smacks 5 Hits Wednesday, September 14th, 2050 5 times is the charm -- at least for Ted Morrison. The Toronto Blue Jays center fielder tore up the Houston Astros to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Rogers Centre today. The offensive onslaught from Morrison powered the Blue Jays to a 7-2 win. "Morrison was a tough out today," Houston manager Josh Carrick said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Ted Morrison singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Jim Johns in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.
