3-Game Suspension for Harris

Following an intense confrontation with the home plate umpire in which he was ejected, Mets center fielder Bobby Harris was suspended 3 games by the league. Harris had to be physically restrained by his manager and appeared to make a few threats toward the umpire. He was upset by a called third strike in a game with Oakland at Citi Field.
Harris could not be reached for comment on the suspension.
Currently Harris is hitting .237 and has collected 1 home run, 5 RBIs and scored 14 times, while playing in 26 games.
