Braves Lose Sandoval for 5 Weeks Sunday, May 18th, 2064 Injuries are something every team has to deal with. That fact struck home for the Braves when after today's game against the Yankees, the club found out they would be without the services of Jon Sandoval for at least 5 weeks. After the game, his manager said of the incident, "You hate to lose anyone to injury. That's always a negative." Sandoval was injured earlier today throwing a pitch and suffered elbow inflammation. To this point in the season Sandoval has 7 saves in 19 relief appearances with a 1-3 record and 2.89 ERA. |
