NL Pitcher of the Month Goes to Evers Monday, August 1st , 2078 Following one of the brightest stretches in his career, the National League awarded Atlanta reliever Vince Evers July's Pitcher of the Month trophy. He was mesmerizing as he held opponents to a .179 batting average and put together a 5-0 mark, no saves, 25 strikeouts and a 1.42 ERA during his 31.2 innings of work. To this point in the season he has had no saves. Evers has made no relief appearances, tossed 68.1 innings and struck out 53 with a record of 6 wins and 3 losses. |
