Setback for New York and Ricardo Salinas Friday, July 2nd , 2083 The New York Yankees trainer was the bearer of bad news today, as it was learned Ricardo Salinas's injury will keep him out of the lineup for longer than expected. The Yankees right fielder is being treated for a torn hip flexor tendon. During a routine exam, Salinas's condition was found to be worse than originally diagnosed and he is now expected to rehab at least another 4 weeks. This season Salinas is hitting .222 with 41 hits, 8 home runs, 20 RBIs, scored 31 runs and played in 54 games. |
