AL Selects Simon May's #1 Pitcher Monday, June 1st , 2111 Dan Simon of New York had an excellent May with a 5-1 record and was selected as the Pitcher of the Month in the American League. He finished the month with a 1.66 ERA while piling up 47 strikeouts in 43.1 innings and holding opposing hitters to a .227 batting average. In 10 starts this season, Simon has recorded a 9-1 record and a 1.73 ERA. |
